He/Him. Autistic. 30-years-old. Oregonian. Animal lover, especially snakes. Loves games. Former hospital worker that had to look at a sign that said, "Heroes work here!" the day after a coworker died as I drove into the parking lot. Still in love.

It's dangerous to say, but since it is true, it's more dangerous to not say: The Supreme Court of the United States is not a legitimate body. It's been deliberately and systematically captured by ideologues on behalf of an anti-Constitutional project, and its extremist members have been bribed.

"Nobody will do that though." Oh I guess there's nothing to be done, then. Very convenient if what you'd like is to avoid having to do anything.

I've noticed "we're cooked, it's over" is often the call of the person whose strategy is to hope they will not be in the oven.

I'd start by pressuring elected officials to stop recognizing the authority of the court. Supporting officials who promise to fix it once in power and to refuse to recognize any of its rulings since at least 2015 as valid. And investigate, charge, prosecute, and convict its extremist members.

More judges speak to the press (the NYT) about what a disaster the Supreme Court (specifically the shadow docket) has been - “incredibly demoralizing & troubling”; a “judicial crisis”; a “slap in the face to district courts.” www.nytimes.com/2025/10/11/u...

Unreasoned opinions are impossible to follow in any case presenting even slightly different facts from the case decided. Further, a Supreme Court at war with its lower courts will impair its own effectiveness and, by extension, the entire judiciary.

The very mangy failed "lion" Aslan talks a big "game" but he and the radical antiwi were very unfair to the white witch. The witch—they call her a witch but she was a queen, she was a queen from the great land of Charn—was very white. Very white, and that's OK. They say not OK but I say OK.

they're coming through wardrobes, folks, and they're coming over through portals on train platforms and schoolyard walls, and by using rings of various colors, and they're saying "oh bother" and "by Jove" and they're taking over narnia folks and eating all the turkish delight, they eat the delight

I am hereby putting a 200% tariff on all fauns dryads and talking beavers as well as turkish delight. Narnia has been very bad to us.

Yes, we can spend billions to bail out billionaires who invested in Argentina while we cut billions in foreign aid that was saving millions of lives around the world.

This is why it's harder for a rich man to get into heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle.

“I’m worried about my community… I’m out here in a frog costume to show how ridiculous the notion that we’re violent terrorists is, and showcase how that narrative is wrong…”

Serious Q: is it too late to give this dude the Nobel Peace Prize? 🐸 🏆

This is also an example of a policy that supports a "pro-life" agenda while ACTUALLY being pro-life.

Michigan lawmakers just made a HISTORIC investment in guaranteed income programs.

By investing $270 million in #RxKids, they will transform what's possible for 30,000 families a year.

This is real leadership on the cost of living crisis.

Members of Congress should be on the streets of DC—where many of them live! —putting their bodies between these law-abiding citizens and ICE. Congress should be demanding names, and promising ICE will be prosecuted when US democracy is re-established.

But they are not—b/c they think it polls badly.

New — Video shared with me shows ICE officers in DC detaining a man on Friday.

Bystander filming asks man for his name. ICE agent lies and says he’s not allowed to speak to him “by law” and another says “We’ve arrested American citizens for being too close…If he gets any closer, put him in cuffs.”

Mamdani talking lucidly and passionately about trans rights and history in a video that should frankly shame every politician who has hemmed and hawed and triangulated and said, "Well, but sports..." It's not that hard to tell the truth and stand for what's right. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEvV...

It has been upsetting watching the establishment hurl itself at Mamdani but I think the other way to read that is that there really is a *better* politics possible and he shows that it is REAL.

We could have this.

They wouldn't fight it so hard if it wasn't achievable.
