As someone who knew him for a while, and who was disgusted by what he did, I say oh well, how sad, nevermind. I just feel sorry for the victims who have this all trudged up again and his ex bandmates

Can you think of a single movie in which there is a video from the government denouncing its political opponents playing on a loop in public spaces in which that government was the good guy?

My 18yo just released her first single five minutes ago! Give it a listen. She’s good.

Oh and please like and share (even if you don’t like it!) Thanks a million.

(Why, yes, the cover art is indeed by me!)

I remember seeing the famous Electricity performance on a beach. Think it was a night dedicated to Peel. Really made an impression on me. It was like hearing the past and the future at exactly the same time

I think I’m one of the minority that think this is his greatest album even with all the brilliance that followed

Bought OTD in 1970: this was a huge one for me at the time - twisted psych blues with a unique vision. So many great songs: Electricity. Plastic Factory, Yellow Brick Road, Sure ‘Nuff, Zig Zag Wanderer, Dropout Boogie. The one that crept up on me: the version of Robert Williams’ Grown So Ugly

That’s a great line up

‘Six words or _fewer_.”
A meme. There’s a skull at the top, followed by the words ‘WRITE A HORROR STORY IN SIX WORDS OR LESS’

Great review Simon. I only caught Beak> live once as part of a festival appearance they made at Greenman. The mixture of humour inbetween each song you mention, and the seriousness for the music was evident throughout and made for a great set. I'll look forward to what comes next from them x
