In the text, @tychobrahe.bsky.social , you mention the"if someone wants to be president" convo. I believe this is in one of Douglas Adam's Hitchhiker's Guide, "Anyone who is capable of getting themselves into a position of power should on no account be allowed to do the job", which I 100% support.

As someone in MA who is now going back to college because it's free now, has a kid with free school lunches, and got a letter saying "we over collected the budget this year" giving some money back from these tax increases... If you're "experiencing higher than expected volume of calls" every time I call, THEN YOU NEED TO EXPECT THAT AMOUNT OF CALLS. It's NO LONGER UNEXPECTED AT THIS POINT.
