We introduced a bill to restore year-round open dining and make it easier for restaraunts.

Outdoor dining was a silver lining of the pandemic, and New Yorkers want it back. We can simplify the process for restaurants to secure permits and give us more places to dine together.

The error message on SunOS/Solaris (I think) for failing reading an NFS share was "NFS server [name] not responding", and way back in the day (pre 2000) I came across a place that called their NFS servers after adverbs. E.g. "stubbornly" . Of course some clever person called one "probably" too. Fun.

As I said at the time a "consumer" used to be called a reader, a viewer,a listener. We created and reinforced a value hierarchy, and now a bunch of people who could be watching their favorite films are pushing us video of the Teletubbies meeting the Beatles or whatever.
