oh you have to BREAK them??? i was under the assumption (in my 2 minutes of running around in the room) that was a "only vulnerable spot" because nothing else was doing damage at all. in that case though i may see if i can beat it now, and if not, I'll just run back to it a little later on

very true... i dont wanna wear down my sword and/or lose arrows (tho i love shooting people) and/or lose souls cause i die stupidly...
oh but if i may ask generally, is the tree just that annoying and I have to deal? or should i not be fighting this guy rn. cause there is another direction i can go
