I've seen it a ton, either from the misconception that they STILL have stock issues or that no game should ever require something stronger than a PS4, and noone should own one (which is circular logic bc if it has no games but you dont want games for it made the fuck are they supposed to do)

it's so baffling how the PS5 is seen as a Wii-U tier flop when it has literally outsold the PS3 and is around the ballpark of the GBA in terms of sales. The real problem is sony getting a lobotomy at the worst time to do so and making a sort of Lost Generation of games

I understand the concern but they effectively already had no competition considering both this and last gen, the Xbox sold less than half of what Sony has. Its moreso the appearance of competition that's lost

It's because pokemon aggressively tries to Not Be Japanese. the games are not considered JRPGs and the anime is not considered an anime so it can attempt to appear to be a formless cultureless blob with no outside influence. Hope that sounds coherent, it's an interesting thing to think about

ngl its been so long since ive seen arc-v that I forgot yuya and shun did tag together. The only thing I remember from that duel is that obelisk force had a fusion spell so poorly written that its "AG miracle fusion but anything you use from the GY doesnt leave. just checks they exist first"

I know this is late but this has given me an idea to maybe try this with gen 1. I say gen 1 because its writing will probably be at its most basic, its apparently no kanji whatsoever, and half the gen 1 JP pokemon names are basic utilitarian shit like Spear and Lucky
