I’ve never attempted a movie watching challenge before, simply because I am bad at challenges, but I’m kind of determined to finish this one.

Did I wake up and decide to make caramel pumpkin sauce for my coffee at 7am when I should be getting ready for work? For some reason, yeah, I did. Also I’ve never made caramel before and was not prepared for what that would be like but I was mostly successful! I had to strain a few clumps out but🤷🏻‍♀️

54/100 Hallow Gate (1988)

The beginning of this movie has an excellent 80s Halloween ambiance. Overall a bit cheesy, but the characters delivered an enjoyable degree of devastation that I think is often lost in slashers.

I enjoyed this. I think it may have benefitted from being broken up into two or maybe even three movies so the plot could be more fleshed out, but I liked the idea of what it had going on.

I can tell I haven’t been processing my emotions about everything happening in the United States currently, because I went to see The Librarians (which was very good!!) and despite being aware of everything in it, I cried through the whole thing. 😅

She’s become the James Patterson of pop music. Her songs are all formulaic. Her fans will eagerly consume everything she puts out and everyone else will be left standing in the thriller aisle staring at the spines like how are there so many of these?
