I also think the idea that the only way she remembered who to tell was by scrolling her phone of people she talked to recently? Like idk man, one of my best friends in the world lives on the other side of the country and we don’t get to talk all that much anymore but she would be one of my 1st calls

The prices on this stuff stuck out to me too. Like $70 for a baby doll tee?? I swear they jacked up the prices just to see how far people will go with just buying anything Taylor puts out

The orange-pink glow of the gemstones 🤭🤭

This would look great with the “tangerine” Lover Bodysuit. Bonus points for wearing this in 10/8.

With how quickly some of even the ugliest pieces sold out, I do wonder if it was very limited quantity to make it look like it was selling out fast

In the promo for Fallon they showed him holding 3 cat stuffies and pretending to cry to Eldest Daughter and I literally was like…is it about her cats?? Haha

@kelsey.randall 'Ophelia Dress' - $8,500.00
Taylor wears two different Kelsey Randall chainmail dresses in her Showgirl imagery, one of which was in
"The Fate of Ophelia" music video. This dress was originally a custom made piece just for Taylor which the designer told me took her and her team 13 days (of course) to create, hand gluing rhinestones together. She eventually dubbed the dress style the "Ophelia" of course, in honour of the video.
Randall told @elanafishman of @pagesix the dress was rendered in "shades of pink and purple but with undertones of peach, white and gold." She added, "We literally ordered thousands of yards of the chain fringe and all the different rhinestones."

What’s wild is we didn’t even get all of the clips. We didn’t get her talking about the Super Bowl. We didn’t get her talking about walking the dog…
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
Also her “learning sports for that man” is literally just her committing to the bit
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
When she’s talking about Wi$hli$t on Fallon and she says she learns sports for this man and then she says “and I love em…I don’t want to do em but I love em”…it sounds like she’s saying “him” 🤭
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
Yah like I literally didn’t realize she was talking about the sports until she started to mime them haha
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
But also in the first Happy Gilmore, Happy’s happy place starts with a woman walking toward him wearing sexy lingerie 🤭🤭

This is a truly wild thing to put on the back of a sweatshirt. How many Swifties are going to wear this and subsequently get harassed because of it??

This fucking administration. You’ve got to be fucking kidding me. A bunch of petulant children.

the government. This government website will be updated periodically during the funding lapse for mission critical functions. President Trump has made it clear he wants to keep the government open and support those who feed, fuel, and clothe the American people.

The only one named one? How incheresting 🤔🤔
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
And then just the beginning of the title track referencing the f slur and then the “she came out, she’s living my dream”…
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
And then Cancelled and Honey both seem to reference Call It What You Want. It also seems to reference Paper Rings (PR). Honey also has this insinuation of gay because the examples she gives of people using these terms passive aggressively are women…
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
And then going into Cancelled which I think could very well be her referencing the New Romantics, the others who are cloaked and helping her on this mission, they all have matching scars because they’ve all been through it.
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
So to have Wi$hli$t end like that and then Wood starts with the melody that sounds like “I’m coming out” and the first lyrics being not only womens names, but being about one of them being bare naked. And then the song is filled with innuendos that could be taken as gay
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
But I also think it could be about the idea that queer people do want to have that life that everyone else does. They want to be able to have a family and be left alone and have society allow them to just live. WOW isn’t that an amazing thought?
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
And then maybe the basketball hoop line is referencing an athlete? (It also made me think about this though…)
Ross Travis

I wouldn’t doubt that each line of this chorus references a celebrity (or multiple) that had their careers threatened if they came out. Once you mentioned this, it made me wonder if the “boss up” line is about…The Boss??
This is, to me, a fairly obvious way to read this excellent song. But I don't think it's what Bruce was thinking of when he wrote it. I'm pretty sure this song is gay by accident.
Bruce Springsteen is a heterosexual man.
Just look at this picture of him heterosexually kissing his fellow
heterosexual Clarence Clemons on the lips during a concert: For some of us, Bruce is also talking about something far more than just music. He's describing an epiphanic moment of self-discovery, one in which he encountered a new vision of the person he might become and chose to embrace it. It's a narrative that might particularly resonate with queer people, who are well aware of the possibility of a life-altering freedom that presents itself as the reward for stepping into your true self (even when that freedom comes, as is often the case, at great cost). Bruce is far from gay; some might argue he is one of the straightest men alive. But as one watches Springsteen on Broadway, it is easy to see why he has long been if not a queer icon, then at least a straight icon who is disproportionately beloved by many queers.
A quick poke around the Internet reveals as much: the academic texts reading his work as
"homoerotic or queerly suggestive," as Rosalie Zdzienicka Fanshel writes; the
"We're Here and We're Queering Bruce
Springsteen" roundup at one of the longest-running sites for queer women,
spellingisfunlor13.bsky.social
Listening to the back half of the album with this in mind really made things look a lot different for me. I think Wi$hli$t could be her singing about what queer celebrities (queer people in general) want. They just want to be around fellow queer people and have the world leave them the fuck alone

reposting for clarity: I think taylor might be quietly referencing “New Kids on The Block” with her “have a couple kids, got the whole block looking like you.”

it was driving me nuts because the language choices were so specific and contradictory to what we (think) we know about her
