"the story becoming about him" tenko's story I mean. I want to read or watch it straight but it's rough and it might become less rough if I can pinpoint when we left the last vestiges of MVA arc and tried to re-join a part of the in-universe world that doesn't fit anymore.

it's like he became fourth wall aware of and ashamed of the story becoming about him & his inability to make this a work that wasn't about him. in a way that expresses a lot about the author but in that way that happens when as an author you are unable to wrench yourself into anything else
