Ordered blank bluray disks (best not ask) off Amazon - Like New condition as they were cheaper. I received a spindle of assorted blank CDs & DVDs, that someone had returned, but kept the more expensive disks & replaced with cheaper ones. I will return them too, but can’t be mad. Top Amazon rip-off.

What a delight this book was!

Listened to it on audible. A fantastic tale of dragons, adventure and magic containing wisdom, empathy and humor. Laughed out loud a couple of times, which is actually quite rare for me. A story suitable for kids, certainly, but you know what? It was great fun for this adult too 😁 Highly recommend (and the audio version is great, the narrator really brings to text to life with her accents and acting, fabulous)

I know, I know, I shouldn’t do this to myself, but I sometimes scroll comments on political posts on FB. I avoid commenting back, but it does nothing for my mental health. Anyway, this was a post about white privilege, and this response is one of the best examples of “I can’t be racist because…”

I could give 2 fucks about someone's race. My oldest sister RIP only dated and married black men. The best man at my son's wedding was a black man and so was one of groomsmen. My kids grew up with black friends and white friends. My favorite
neighbors who lived next door for 32 years were black and my wife cried saying goodbye when we moved out. I worked my entire adult career with and for black people, and a lot of them were working stars. My favorite electronics instructor when I was in school had managed to obtain the top technical job for THE major health care system in my area and taught parttime too. I see blacks SUCCEED all the time!! I worry about those who are convinced that white America has a desire to hold them down. She's more limited by whatever God-given talents she possesses or lacks...there's too many extremely successful black Americans for this to not be true.
