Make sure everyone knows: these mass firings are NOT because of the shutdown.

Trump doesn’t have to fire any of these people—he’s choosing to do it as an intimidation tactic.

Difficult to overstate how stupid and reckless this is.

We met her by chance a long time ago in an ice cream store. She was with her son, and we were with ours. Trying to think of something to say, I observed that there were so many flavors it was hard to decide. She laughed as if it were witty. She was exactly the person you imagine.
