That's a crazy "limit." My kid just likes opening the packs and collecting the characters more than anything else.

I sure love explaining why there are never any cards bc greedy people keep hoarding them. 😮‍💨

My friends and I were pretty obsessed with Suzy Eddie Izzard's "Dressed To Kill" special in college and I used to want a mug that said "Fuck off, I'm the queen!"

I drew a prototype with me as a stick figure with a crown and made it my whole personality 🤣

My father's last name is Busiek, and so the whole family just kinda used it too, and he and my mom named me Kurt, so that differentiated me from the seven other Busieks in the house.

My husband spends all day reading for work, and the last thing he wants to do is read more when he comes home.

I still read a lot when I was still working full time, but I was also working at a bookstore. So technically I was still "reading for work" but we got to read what we wanted.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
