Just as an example, since I just looked it up -- there was a young artist who drew four short pieces for Paul Levitz that got published in early 1978, and then he started getting work from Marvel.

He might not have been the guy for FLASH or GREEN LANTERN, though it'd have been interesting to see...

When I met Ann, she was 17. But when we started dating, she was 22, and the way I remembered her birthday was that she'd be "23 on the 23rd."

40 years later, that's still how I remember it. So happy 23rd birthday yet again, Ann! And here's to many more!

Sure. But I still get the impression that it wasn't editing he wanted to do so much as an office job with benefits where he didn't have to draw pages all day. So maybe if he got Vinnie's job and was DC's John Romita, even just on a temporary basis in the wake of the Implosion, that might have...

Classmates-dot-com is sending an email every day to try to sell me a reprint of my high school yearbook. This might be interesting to me if I didn't still have my actual high school yearbook.

But in order to unsubscribe from the emails they want me to register my email with a service for security.

When I started reading comics regularly, I was a Marvel loyalist, and was slow to start reading DC books.

When I did, what pulled me over was a mixture of creators, team books, the comics press and Richard Howell, who was at the time a clerk at my local comics shop.

It strikes me -- not for the first time, but, well, I'm thinking about it now -- that it's kind of astounding that DC put so much trust in Julie Schwartz in the mid-70s, at a time Marvel was eating DC's lunch and comics sales overall were declining, and Julie just didn't seem to be trying very hard.

for so long
you and me been finding each other
for so long
and the feeling that I feel for you
is more than strong, girl
take it from me
if you give a little more
than you're asking for
your love will turn the key

Newsom isn't allowed to run for governor again.

If Trump was impeached, it wouldn't be next year, and would almost assuredly not result in his removal. But even if it did, we wouldn't hold new elections, we'd just swear in Vance.

People seem to have entirely imaginary ideas about how the US works.
Gov Newsom is very popular with very high approval ratings; unless Newsom is no longer allowed to run, I think this guy will lose against Newsom. I believe Newsom has a very good chance of winning the next Pres election which I hope happens next yr after #Trump is impeached
