in a weird way, I feel a lot of pressure to outdo myself, to be better than I was, to improve and go beyond what I’ve already done; I’m not in competition with anyone but myself, I’m comparing my work to my past work, my success to my past success.

A bit of a vulnerable moment here but I swear the most insecure I get about my own content is during like. The week after the initial week I post a big video, after the hype has died down because not only are numbers generally worse, but the pressure to do better than last time mounts quickly.
