Ok after an afternoon of results, texts, calls, messages on other apps and emails, I have some thoughts on today’s Local Election results

1) Voter turnout is depressing. 32%ish on average across AoNZ is pathetic.
2) The Māori Wards referendum should never have happened - it was a racebaiting farce…

One of the volunteers at rugby is transgender. M2F. She needed to go to the toilet. Didn't want to use disabled loo or female loo. She said would hide hands in pocket as she went into the males. This is really sad. I felt sorry for her. She knows I have her back.

Our new mayor is against them. Out 3 mayoral candidates, 2 were against maori wards. Useless kirsten wise wanted to keep them. But Napier didn't want to keep her.

The Warehouse dont do Afterpay which is a shame because they have pink kettle & toasters.
The kettle is $49. I think I may just get the jug. Put it on credit card. I think they do old fashioned layby still.
