Is this some sort of Tesla defender bot arguing with itself with contradictory facts?
A great point!

Events are planned, permits obtained if necessary, things are announced, scheduled, and people plan ahead and show up and leave on according to the planned schedule. And because we’re responsible respectful humans we also don’t leave piles of garbage behind.
Agreed. But also, _permanently_ would imply no path to redemption, and hence no value in trying to do better. We always want there to be incentives for them to do better.

But that will also take a pattern, there’s no ‘one and done’ action able to redeem past failure, or especially _failures_
I could probably attend 6 protests a week maybe more, within a 25 mile radius of home. And there’s the opportunity to pick from perhaps 20 or more (many happen synonymously or I could in theory attend even more)

I count roughly 30 listed at defundmusk.com
Defund Musk
Defund Musk is fighting the attack on our democracy by the world's richest man through protests, boycotts, and an ongoing media campaign.

If you saw the condition of my other two signs…..

OK, so our "Secretary of War" currently has two big priorities: (1) murdering innocent fishermen in the Caribbean, and (2) endangering the lives of commuters in Southern California.

Perhaps, we are seeing one of the downsides to having a drunk TV talk show chatterbox running our military.

The networks took the much smaller Tea Party movement so seriously they broadcast a Tea Party rebuttal to Obama’s 2011 SOTU on top of the normal GOP one.
Reminder: We spent YEARS reading thousands and thousands of articles on the Tea Party and how it was a true expression of the American people's will, and it never mounted anything nearly as big as Saturday's No Kings rallies. [1/3]

Indeed, the point is to remove real academics and replace them with partisan propagandists.

Plus, their "diversity" only ever extends to one "viewpoint": whatever Republicans are saying at the moment. An economist who said tariffs are bad would be deemed a Marxist and thus not "viewpoint diverse."
The definition of “viewpoint diversity” that figures like this promote implies *censorship* (the “must” part): curbing some forms of expression to boost others. It’s an invention of orgs who advocate government censorship of teaching/research + restrictions on protected political speech in colleges.
A pattern of poor responses to breaches certainly can destroy brand trust
Another option (depending on budget) is finding an image you like and then going to a place like a fed ex store that can print it on foamcore or corrugated plastic

Turning this into a sign on foamcore cost me $40.89
Some of us care enough and are privileged enough to spend _our own money_ (gasp) having nice signs printed.

Other folk used scrap packing styrofoam and felt markers.

But unlike the premade signs at a Trump rally, ours are all different, not printed in the 100’s and handed out at the entrance

"And I looked at all the brand new signs"

Look at all the old, homemade signs at typical Trump rally:
I saved the receipt for my sign

Not because I expect to get reimbursed but to force down the throat of the first maggot who tells me someone paid or provided it for me.

You may be living in an absolutely racist country when 13-year-old Black boys are tried and sentenced as adults, but white dudes who *are* adults are called "kids" by JD Vance to shield them from culpability.

What is gaslighting?
Mike Johnson: "The last time I checked, Americans have more freedom right now to express themselves and speak their minds after Republicans took over ... it is the Republicans who restored your right to share and speak your mind."

I mean, to Mike Johnson and the modern GOP, the values of the United States are totalitarianism, an all-powerful strongman leader, ignorance, bigotry, bullying, and sneering cruelty. I do hate those things, and I hate the people who embrace them, so I guess I hate their America.
Mike Johnson on No Kings: "We refer to it by its more accurate description -- the Hate America Rally. You're gonna bring together the Marxists, the socialists, the antifa advocates, the anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far left Democrat Party. That is the modern Democratic Party."
This is a lovely sight after a hard day of protesting.

🚨 NEWS: Colombian President Gustavo Petro accuses U.S. government officials of murder and violating Colombia’s sovereignty and says the Trump-ordered strike of a boat in the Caribbean killed a fisherman named Alejandro Carranza.

The crowd did not disperse, an instead started playing Tubthumping by Chumbawamba — I get knocked down, but I get up again.
