I’ve had some pretty weird interactions with people I got excited about initially, due to their being vegan, only to eventually realize…oh no, we are very different vegans lol.

I don’t understand how these people can be for “saving” animals, and have such militancy for what that means (no secondhand shit, only buying new vegan versions of whatever, etc.), yet never utilize the alleged empathy they’ve curated towards their comrades or utilize critical thinking.

I look around at all the things people want to replace with AI, and the people that would be in charge of doing it/those systems, and it all boils down to those with no skills or passion being mad about it, and trying to prove they can throw money at it to not have to do real work.
