If the lobby hacks were very willing to participate in a fraud this obnoxious and insulting, then we should ask: what else did they treat as extremely important and/or concerning, while fully understanding it was fraudulent drivel? It seems unlikely you reach that level of complicity as a one-off.

National Endowment for Democracy. It funds destabilisation efforts against governments the US wants to overthrow, under the guise of promoting ‘democracy’. Yet they seem to show little interest in dictatorial US clients states, such as Saudi Arabia.

It’s utterly devastating to lose a beloved companion and I’ll never understand anyone (it’s just a dog/cat etc) who thinks it isn’t. Take solace in the fact that, in animal terms, she won the life lottery by having someone who loved, fed, cared for and protected her. Love and solidarity.
