Don’t worry. It won’t be as catastrophic as the #SubPrime crash. I was considering the level of contagion an #AIbubble pop will cause. Most banks are not over-leveraged on it, which is good. Pension funds are being cautious. My European pension fund has divested out of the S&P.

It’s simply not that good at a lot of “regular people job” things, and it doesn’t save you very much time because you have to spend more time checking and editing its output.

I posted this on there four weeks ago and I had to turn off the comments, and it’s the most viewed thing I’ve ever put up on there.

The vitriol it triggered was amazing. Most of the angry replies were generated by AI. 😆

In the meantime, it's causing fear & confusion. As I understand it:

● this only applies to some people on skilled visas
● it's not "A level English" it's something called SELT
● much the same requirement exists elsewhere in EU

Dude! I’ve been on a journey and it’s easy for me to preach and forget to practice. It took me too long to condemn what Israel has done in Gaza, and I still find it repugnant when ppl qualify Hamas’s actions. Even though, that is not entirely the point.
If you keep ppl in a cage for 75 years…

And the reason we do that in “Liberal” and “Progressive” societies is because They are poor and We are wealthy. We cannot see our children in their dead and maimed children. We cannot see our suffering mirrored by their own. We don’t see victims. We only see villains. And that is a terrible truth.

Every decade or so we hear “progressive voices” proclaiming, “Why do they hate us?” After an unspeakable atrocity has been committed. After engaging with u & confronting my own bias I remember why. Because we don’t listen, and we treat our dead as a thousand times more important than “their dead.”
