America is *so* stupid.

I’ve got family members who will be staring down at their phones and not saying a word when we’re together, but the second that I pull out a book, I’m suddenly the rude one and need to learn to participate in the conversation. 🙄

Twenty years ago if you wanted to listen to music in a public space you were expected to put your headphones on.

Even then I can remember people being told to turn them down if they were fistling.

Now you’re expected to wear headphones if you DON’T want to hear everyone else’s devices blaring out.
