October is here! For the past 6 years I have drawn a pumpkin inspired creature to post on Halloween. Here’s last year’s Pumpkin Hound 🎃

Some piggies I painted for the very good podcast horror series, @thewrongstation.bsky.social ! This is from the episode "A Long Slice of Ham".
Some pigs in the dark, lit by a flashlight, behind a wire fence. they look rotten and diseased, with dead white eyes. one of the pigs is grinning and showing a mouth of rough flat teeth. in the darkness, more eyes glow in the light.

the horrific thing from the Tom Savini directed TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE episode "Inside The Closet" (1984) bears a striking similarity to the monster on the October 1932 cover of STRANGE TALES OF MYSTERY AND HORROR for Clark Ashton Smith's "The Hunters From Beyond" by H.W. Wesso
the hideous monster in the closet from the TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE episode "Inside The Closet" created by Tom Savini, who also directed the episode
vaguely simian, it has pale clammy skin, deep-set red eyes, and bared painted teeth the cover illustration from the october 1932 issue of STRANGE TALES OF MYSTERY AND TERROR by H.W. Wesso illustrates the Clark Ashton Smith story "The Hunters From Beyond" & features a man confronted by a white worm-like creature with bony arms and simian face with deep set eyes and baring its teeth in a creepy grin/gimace
Absolute Killer Croc by me.

Absolute Batman's rogue gallery basically being a bunch of SCP's is glorious #DCcomics

I've been looking at futuristic cityscapes from Akira and Syd Mead this week and seeing this neat trick where they draw somewhat realistic foreground buildings up to a point,

Then draw incomprehensibly gigantic structures behind them to push it over the top
