Wow. This is awesome. The original is a masterpiece but seeing that Pérez/Ordway Crisis look with classic coloring just sings. Can’t wait for this. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I just had the great pleasure of finishing the most complex piece I have ever colored, a new version of George Pérez’s legendary Crisis on Infinite Earths poster. Originally painted by Alex Ross, this new version was inked by Jerry Ordway and digitally colored by me. New Absolute Edition of Crisis!

In the works! When I left CGS initially Adam put out two solo eps - so I’ll probably do the same to even it out. 😄 I’m just too busy at the moment with the show I’m working on.

Heard about this awhile ago from the author. The Crisis Tapes were a resource. Should be amazing!

People can be weird with their generalizations. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m confused. I’m seeing in these parts that if I didn’t enjoy the new FF movie it’s because I’m on Twitter. But I have an account here, too. I was also told everyone who liked Man of Steel was trashing the new version. But I thought Superman was wonderful. Guess I’m glad I can’t be pigeon holed!!!

All good! I certainly understand your perspective. When there’s too much out there it can be underwhelming.

Seeing it in Imax was great. I like my movies loud. 😄 Also, all the color really pops. I found myself looking around the screen and really taking everything in.

I saw Superman for the second time in Imax at a matinee with only two other people in the theatre. Totally worth it. 😄

It definitely has rewatchability! Made me appreciate his performance even more when I was able to focus in & not have to absorb the whole. Still not sold on Hoult as Lex. Still feel the Daily Planet characters are way under explained. But a good start - especially since I’m not a Gunn fan at all. 😄

Here's the Koblish "Foes" cover to the Superman Treasury that I talk about in this episode!

Ha! The characters have been identified here and there - but I'm sure I could add my spin to it all.

👍👍👍

It’s for laughs or awwws. If you think it’s hokey, you forgot the similar scenes in the 70s Superman movie. If you champion it too hard, the logic of it falls apart. It’s two seconds. But it got people talking for sure. 😄😄

Saw Superman again. Here’s the thing about the squirrel save. How about saving all the cars that got swooped by the kaiju’s tail to help save us from insurance costs! If he saves everything, what about the rats and roaches killed when the bldgs fell? In other words, it’s not that deep. It’s a bit.
