And this is where we are -- willfully obstinate legislatures, higher courts staffed with conservative ideologues, a constant tsunami from the right-wing parallel media streams about how Real America was Stolen and THEY Hate and are Ruining Everything, and a refusal by many to call that out plainly.

Conservative think tanks responded to the inclusion waves of the 1960s -- the civil rights movement, the feminist movement, the emergence of LGBT pride/rights, acknowledgement of other religions -- with decades of plotting how to reverse laws, court rulings and popular opinion that enabled them.

And American history is dominated by caste, which went something like:

1) WASP straight cis conservative males
2) Those willing to bend the knee loudly and consistently to #1
3) Subservient castes who "know their place."
4) Anyone who doesn't.

Which is MAGA in a nutshell -- restoring that system.

ME: Trump is sending troops into our cities to meet the threat of unarmed people in frog costumes. He's also stopped paying the troops and some of them are running out of food. Congress is too busy hiding pedophiles to act.
