If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

How projects get derailed:
Have new idea
Start new project
Early enthusiasm
Encounter difficulties
Get bored
Have new idea.

Finish your current project before getting distracted by all the new shiny ones.

During #BreastCancerAwareness Month, we want to underline an essential part of the job of midwives – provide unbiased education on non-communicable diseases like breast cancer. Midwives have the knowledge to educate women on self-examinations & how to seek further care.

🤝 The NMC and @gmcuk.bsky.social have launched new resources to support maternity care.

Our ‘Good teamwork means better maternity care’ campaign highlights how midwives, neonatal nurses, doctors, women and families work together to deliver safe, person-centred care.

Being able to provide modern methods of contraception is a crucial part of the midwifery scope of practice.
But do you know how many women of reproductive age make use of modern methods of contraceptives? And are midwives supported and trained to provide them?
