We believe the 52 fingers we counted popping up in a patch of the front 'lawn' are Clavulinopsis fusiformis, a fungus in the family Clavariaceae, sometimes called Golden Spindles. These tiny, bright yellow fruit bodies of the fungus grow in dense clusters on the ground in unimproved grassland, apparently. They are appearing in our front garden among the green grasses and wildflowers. Boris Johnson breached rules designed to stop abuse of contacts made in public office, watchdog finds

Limited liability is one of our weird silences. It's a massive free gift society makes to plutocrats, seldom remarked upon, let alone contested.
Shareholders should have to buy limited liability, like any other insurance. The insurers would then be liable. 🧵

A Juniper Shieldbug (Cyphostethus tristriatus) in the garden....
We spotted this Juniper Shieldbug (Cyphostethus tristriatus wandering up a wooden planter in the garden. The insect is a large green shieldbug with curved and distinctive pinkish-red markings on the corium and long antennae. It is walking across a brown, wooden planter in our garden.
