Seeing lots of authors promoting their books with AI-generated art. Listen, authors, if you're using AI slop for your art, why would I believe you didn't just have AI write the book for you?

AI kills the art industry, it's horrible for the environment, and destroys underserved communities.

As Ugly As They Wanna Be

I was 11 years old when this album came out. And even though my mom wasn't exactly a prude, she wasn't really one to let her children listen to "vulgar" music. So I was surprised when I was able to talk her into buying me a CD with a Parental Advisory sticker on it.
I don't know if it would've made a difference or not, but I don't believe she knew the sticker was hiding the obviously protruded middle finger.
I've always leaned toward it wouldn't have mattered b/c when my narc-ass snitch of an older brother pointed out that fact, she just responded with an "oh well, we already bought it."
And for that reason, Ugly Kid Joe, and the hero at the record store who perfectly placed that sticker will always hold a special place in my heart.
