I think this interview with the Mario Land 2 devs already went around a few months ago but we're bringing it BACK baby (via shmuplations.com/supermariola...)

Speaker: There’s a lot of really charming enemies in Super Mario Land 2. I especially liked the “Be” flies from Tree Zone and Mario Zone. Where did they come from?

Hosokawa: They’re impossible to step on. We call them “the flies that do nothing”!

Kiyotake: I love useless characters that do nothing in games, so the first time I saw the Be fly I burst out laughing. I said, I know there will be people who hate this, but let’s leave it in anyway!

Totaka: I loved that character too. I put extra effort into his sound effects. (laughs)

Kiyotake: If we had had more time, I would have liked to program in some way for the player to be able to stomp on them.

Totaka: No way, it’s better to leave it this way!!!

Please reach out if you have more info about Joseph William Behling of Manchester NH, previously of Hooksett NH! Allegedly “Marcus NH” of Patriot Front & the New England Active Club, and involved in Patriot Front’s efforts to recruit teens, Behling is potentially a serviceman in the US Navy.

The second is from a Patriot Front photo op, taken in front of a concrete wall in a wooded area somewhere in or around Manchester NH, during December 2022. A man who is allegedly Joseph Behling holds his right fist to his heart, and conceals his face with a white gaiters and tan baseball cap with a black variant of the Vermont Republic flag. He also wears what appears to be a Colombia Ascender softshell jacket, khaki pants, and glasses. The wall behind him has been vandalized with graffiti, of which a Patriot Front fasces symbol is somewhat visible. The third is allegedly of Behling during Patriot Front's standout against SatanCon in Boston MA during April 2023. A white man of average build, he wears a white gaiter that covers the lower half of his face, including his nose, black aviators, a tan baseball cap with a Patriot Front flag patch on the front, and a navy blue zip-up jacket with a hood. The right sleeve has a pair of patches: the Christian identity flag, and an Appeal to Heaven flag. His right arm is extended outward, and he clutches a cross (with a figure of Jesus crucified upon it) as if attempting to ward something off.
