LA County has declared a state of emergency BECAUSE OF the federal government.

The Feds, LA County is (correctly) saying, have CAUSED the emergency.

This is a striking political moment of internal collapse. Local govts feeling compelled to protect their ppl from … their own govt.

I don’t know about you all, but my college group chats never looked any thing like this and if I found out my kids’ spoke like this they would have every privilege immediately yanked from them and would be in therapy, immediately, to figure out wtf went wrong and how to fix it.

How many times do we have to go over this? The majority of the Black population in the US lived in the South. LGBTQ+ folks live largely in the South. MANY of us did not vote for this.
