Look, I get it if the locker room is ready to hit the beach. That said, if anyone does want to win this match they should bench Antony and start Fernandez and Lassiter. I'd much rather have a group out there who gives a crap than talented guys walking around.

What a career Darlington Nagbe has had.

After the Crew won MLS Cup in 2023 I was covering the celebrations in the locker room.

Two different champagne-soaked Crew staffers made sure to tell me:

Nagbe, 35, is a four-time MLS Cup winner (2015, 2018, 2020, 2023) with three clubs (Portland, Atlanta, Columbus).

I mean... A+ is overselling it, no? Like I'm super-excited that we're pulling every lever to get better but LAFC and Vancouver added truly world-class talents. But clearly Morrison St has realized you can't stand pat in any window these days.
