Rep. Clay Higgins of Louisiana blames SNAP recipients for not stockpiling a month's worth of food.

He ends his tweet with "stop smoking crack."

There are 22 million American households receiving SNAP benefits for groceries, at $4200 per year on average.
Try to get your head wrapped around how many pantries you can stock with $4200 dollars in properly shopped groceries.
Any American who has been receiving $4200 dollars per year of free groceries and does NOT have at least 1 month of groceries stocked should never again receive SNAP, because wow, stop smoking crack.

Depending on the AAV, I can get on board. Yadi got 3/60 in the 2018 contract that Gelb invokes. That feels steep to me. JT had more WAR this year than Yadi did the year before his contract, but Yadi's OPS was 50 points higher. The more I look at the numbers, the less confident I am in my take.

I love the idea of acquiring Goodman, but what do we have to give up that the Rockies would want? I don't see them wanting to trade for Stott, Bohm, or Marsh, who have limited years remaining on their contracts, and we won't give up Miller, Crawford, or Painter. Does Escobar get it done?

My in-laws are farmers, primarily cattle. My husband's been gently trying to make them see the ways their votes have wrought the damage to small farmers right now. (Plus, the whole son-married-to-another-man thing.)

I can’t believe we’re really going to have more than a week of debate about “stigmatizing” a political candidate who literally branded himself with Nazi stigmata.

A stigma is a mark of shame on the body that marks someone as outside a group. No one stigmatized him! He literally did it to himself.
