I'm a psychologist and we need to use Rule Zero of the Internet:

Don't Feed The Trolls.

What trolls want is attention. So any engagement with them encourages them.

Even disagreeing with them.
Even disproving them.

It all counts as "attention", so it makes them behave worse.

Block them. Move on.

The Republicans are trying so hard to rig the midterms with gerrymandering etc. because they do matter.

In fact the fate of the US might be determined by voter turnout in the midterms.

And the Dems still haven't realized that opposing popular candidates like Mamdani is giving Trump a free win.

Because they don't need to.

It means someone so blindly devoted to a decrepit leader that they will lick the drool from the side of the leader's mouth so that the leader doesn't have to trouble themselves.

Example Sentence:

I feel like this might partly be the result of America's system of government being a false dichotomy.

People's lives have been getting worse since Reagan.

So they react against whatever the ruling party is doing and towards the other side.

There is reporting that Israel has already violated its ceasefire agreement with Hamas.

So once again the lie that "Hamas could stop this anytime they wanted" is shown to be nonsense.

And we must revisit the worst New York Times headline of all time: "Ceasefire Holds Despite Israeli Airstrike".
