I think the Jays relentlessness in putting the ball in play may expose the Mariners' surprisingly terrible defence, but hopefully the M's can make up for it in other ways. Just hoping for a fun series.

Peoole in this country are addicted to bias confirmation and have astonishingly poor media literacy so naturally we are barreling down a pretty dark path when AI can put out clearly fake shit and have people be like "Well it's not THAT far from being real!" Hoo boy we are in some trouble right now

The Sons of 1977 ALCS. The Mariners and Blue Jays are expansion mates, born in 1977 as new AL clubs. Toronto wasn't part of MLB's US licensing agreement—they had their own team-labeled retail program which generated massive revenue, selling 120,000 caps in Vancouver alone (3,000 miles from Toronto)

I've always been open about having only watched the Mariners the last few years and not once has anyone called my fandom into question. I'm sure some of that is because I'm not a woman, but I'd like to think a larger amount is because Mariners fans are very cool. Thanks for having me along and GOMS
