INBOX: Atlanta-based Southern Co., the parent of Georgia Power, saw profits climb 11.5% in the third quarter compared to the same period last year, the utility and energy conglomerate announced Thursday.

Wow: @ajc.com's Lautaro Grinspan reports that in just one week in October, ICE spent nearly $950,000 on ads in Atlanta — more spending than in any other U.S. city.

That amount would've been enough to provide SNAP benefits for over 20,000 Atlantans every month.

My new bus system is integrated with the Transit app and it’s fantastic. I wish MARTA would do that! I know MARTA is developing a new app though
