We could shut this whole "antifa is paid" thing down real fast if we'd all commit, as journalists, to asking what antifa means. As in, what the word actually means, what actual words it's a portmanteau for, and what those words mean.

In this FB group I’m in, a woman said she and her husband were thinking about having kids. Out of nearly 180 comments, a good 2/3 told her not to do it in Texas because it’s too dangerous.

CBS News would never put a thinly sourced 'story' by a rookie blogger like this on it's air. Until now. The Free Press isn't a journalism outlet, it's bloggers aren't reporters. This piece is more NYPost than Tiffany Network but I guess that's the goal.

One time I went to a KU-Mizzou game at Arrowhead and watched a girl chug 5 Four Lokos in the parking lot, then saw her puke it up almost at my feet in the stands later. It looked like muppet barf.

New style rule, no matter what the AP Stylebook says. It’s “anti-fascism” or “anti-fascist(s)” on first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and infinity references.
Let’s quit using the shorthand.
