BREAKING: The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled the state's shield law protects journalists from being forced to reveal news-gathering materials, even when they are alleged to have trespassed while reporting. The case stems from the 2016 Dakota Access Pipeline protests.

This is a win for press freedom.

i keep my accounts up for archival reasons, but other than that, i don't see myself going back to them. i'm happy with my decision and it's about time that i did. it just got to be too much to see absolutely everything so easily, whether that be the world or local news, drama, etc.

i guess i never really made a statement on why i left the majority of social media behind. in short, it's super toxic. i hate how parasocial and just downright evil people can be. it's scary, and to be frank, i don't want to see it. so besides youtube, here, and a few others, i left for good.

One of my absolute worst fears is having a "good friend" tolerate hanging out with me just to not feel bad about me. Like be upfront about it, don't hang out if you don't want to. Don't drag me along if you don't want to hang out. That simple.

Seeing people call 2024 a bad/weak year for gaming really speaks on how much people focus on console exclusives/blockbuster games

This year was a lot like 2021 where there’s a ton of quality titles but because many weren’t $100 million cinematic experiences they get overlooked
