Honestly pretty zen about it, because I really enjoyed enjoying baseball again this season, for the first time in a long time. I wish they hadn’t lost, but I had a great time on the ride. And I’m gonna remember being there for Game 5 forever. Sports are fun.

But not nearly the entire crowd—not even most—cheered. John's exaggerating.

And the booing will follow every 2017 Astros star to their graves. He can blame Manfred for that.

Bumping this out of thread because it's another example of taking a tax passed for a specific, targeted purpose (improving public health, particularly in poor and BIPOC neighborhoods) and converting it to an all-purpose slush fund to close a general-fund gap. This used to be a very big deal.

Wonder if Harrell would consider it fair to exclude mayor and two council terms from his resume? Yes they included her old address for some fucking reason.
