Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Black, White and Green might be the best of this format since the original Batman: Black and White. A nice range of shorts that showcase the range of this franchise. A lot of good character work. Great art. Genuinely fun. And short. Only 150 pages or so

I’m fascinated by this incredible story. A class was asked as a project to name who they wanted to direct a movie version of The Outsiders and to pitch it to that director. They chose Francis Ford Coppola. They wrote a letter. Sent a copy of the book. The movie is an absolute classic now.

Absolutely wild that @commandersterling.bsky.social was ranting this week about how the word"cozy" has become pervasive in video games and I see this at my local library today

I just bought more Ninja Turtles comics because I find that the older I get the more I realize I'll never stop loving the Ninja Turtles. They were my first comic lore I loved and why should I reject them because I got older?

I was reminded recently of the fun fact that the Cadbury's Caramel bunny (voted 3rd sexiest cartoon character of all time) was voiced by Miriam Margolyes (drawing on her experience making adult audio tapes for sex shops)
