I actually saw the film for the first time in a theater and it absolutely woke me up. It seriously played so well in a theater. Like as well as Sinners did.

Oh it’s a killer line. The writing on the songs is just some of the best pop written for film ever. I would call it fake pop but when I hear Golden blaring from a store in Arkansas it’s 109% real

You know what a big one is? People got the chance to find it organically. The first trailer only hit a month before the movie hit. It was a true WOM hit. And even now that’s still the driver. People like me getting excited by it. The SNL sketch actually nailed it

There are so many lessons to learn from it. It’s modern. It’s original but with a great hook. It has great characters. It has incredible music that’s literally the biggest music today. It rewatches incredibly. It’s stylish. KPDH is the ideal here.

There's so little for teens at the box office that Netflix released a movie that had been streaming for two months already and it still made $18M in just one weekend. KPOP DEMON HUNTERS is a great example of doing it right in 2025.
