I think it’s truly fascinating Nolan over and over makes movies about men who mistreat their wives and neglect them and he scours them. Meanwhile usually the only other producer on his films is his wife who is known as his strongest creative partner. The man truly means his message.
Don’t sleep on how Emma Thomas has produced every one of those films. Neither happens without the other. That they’re married and met first week of uni is even crazier. How are they even real? Two people that unbelievably talented and they just make ridiculously good, cerebral movies.

I’m trying to write on Memento and it’s crazy how it’s a low budget noir but like it’s also still the creator of Inception. Nolan called his shot so loud in that film the only thing he didn’t suggest was he would become the most beloved name in IMAX history.

Please everyone watch The Tall Guy so this ends. That movie alone explains why you need a sex scene. It’s an athletic comic set piece with two of our great screen beauties.
Saying "sex scenes don't advance the plot" is like saying "a car chase doesn't advance the plot".

The concept is gold. The cast is gold. The writers have made great comedies. Let’s see if Apatow can restrain himself but we have a great white hope here.

Instead I’m writing about a guy who seemed like the next big thing in 2001 and 25 years later is…an Academy Award winning knight who is the president of the DGA and gets teasers a year before his movies hit. IDK. Don’t think he met the hype. Sorry.
I hate starting a blog entry and realizing I have nothing to say. I did about 420 words on Lance Armstrong and kinda gave up. He sucked but what he did wasn't that bad compared to the war criminals the 2000s were filled with.

I have a character in as script refer to themselves as the Cytherean and I've never loved a reveal more. Because most readers will have no idea what that is and mythology readers will suddenly understand EXACTLY what's going on in the script because the greater scope figure only makes sense as her.

My response to the latest sex scene discourse is you don’t want me talking here because I will be incredibly hurtful to horror fans and I will absolutely call out hypocrisy in the prevalence of violence but god forbid we see a breast.
