maybe being in my early 30s is too young for that but hasn't it always sucked ass? even putting aside the upcharge for when I was "too young" it always felt like a nightmare to navigate

I'm not saying I've always been prey coded and pliant BUT I was the only who was not really complaining when she was showing defences or like how to do the attacks, and I was very useful because I also had long hair so she was able to like grab it too......

There is also body horror all around, not just about you (in general but also about the one monster questioning your reasoning in front of the cathedral-shelter or like the whole clinic with the blue people, not spelling it from memory at 2am). The doll itself is a whole can of worms too.
