It can:

1. Directly produce harm

2. Indirectly deprive time/resources from supported treatments

3. Erode foundations/trust in scientific professions that promote its use

Have lost all my grief comfort eating weight & feel so much better now, I feel more myself (I think) & more at peace than I have in a long time - I highly recommend outdoor swimming, hiking, nature for MH.
