Fantastic looking and sounding shmup developed for the Megadrive. Amazing what this system can do if there’s some wizards working on it. Unlike many shmups easy mode is really easy and 1CCed it on my first try. Will attempt other difficulties.

Fairly chill and short puzzle platformer where you have to use bombs creatively to propel yourself to difficult places. Had a very fun time although it might be a little too easy for my taste. However the charm makes up for it.

My current opinion on Daikatana: The mix of mediocre & dark level design, the horrendous enemy design & placement makes this a tedious game. Improving the enemy behavior could've made it a bit more tolarable.

The only indie games from '25 I played are Kabuto Park and Silksong.. both very fun games in totally different ways. But I'm sure Silksong will be a all timer (and I'll totally forget about Kabuto Park).

I feel there’s a quad somewhere that I missed. Would’ve made it a bit easier 😆. I think if you can get the melee and hitscan enemies under control you can easily camp somewhere around the weapon pickups and kill everything else. I just jumped around in panic instead 🤣

Speedmaps where the mappers needed to put explosives in the first 30% of the map. Maps are varied between regular, rocket trick and horde maps. Some of these get quite tricky! Good fun.
