If I didn't have kids, and had really good car/life insurance, I think it would be interesting to ask ChatGPT to plan a road trip and then document where you end up. Live post as you end up stuck on dead end dirt roads and waiting for ferries that dont exist.

Imagine you lived in a snowy area where the snow plow service was expensive, plowed rich areas first and better, frequently made mistakes, occasionally hit people with slow plows, terrible customer service and a deliberately confusing billing system.

Still doesn't mean it's safe to drive in snow.

What just clicked for me about how stupidly dangerous this is, is that if you nationalize a state's own guard, *they don't have a guard anymore*. That is, the governor no longer has an armed force that could oppose the guard. Instead there are now two armed forces in the state.

Even if they had some legitimate need and legal basis for deploying the Guard in Chicago, the only reason to not use Illinois NG for it is to cast doubt on their place in the chain of command, treating them as though they are already in mutiny or rebellion, no longer normally functioning.
