we all really just wanted a single word to disparage linear algebra and the people pushing it 😮‍💨 the choice of word was a bit silly because GPUs/TPUs don't "clank" in any appreciable way.

i think there's nothing we can do to fully stop the treadmill of slur word appropriation

i know it sounds a bit "oh i was in the moral right all along" but i don't recall using the word against an actual machine, but rather purely in metadiscussions about the word which...i suppose could be its own subject of interest
