i recommend you to choose a net with thicker rope (like a climbing net for domestic birbs) for protecting the plant pots from birbs' cheating.

farmers around my place always use the nets with thin fibers, though...

Max. size may exceed 2m (~6'7"), but usually smaller.

Mostly herbivorous.

Found from southern Mexico to Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay. Also found on many islands in the Caribbean.

Considered Least Concern by the IUCN.
