🐍Western hognose snake (Heterodon nasicus).

Max. size 90 cm (35").

The upturned scale on its nose is used when burrowing.

Found in southern parts of central Canada, Central United States and into northern Mexico.

Considered Least Concern by the IUCN.

Found in tropical Asia, from northeastern India in the west to Indonesia in the east.

Max. size ~240 cm (~7'10"). Males tend to be a bit smaller than females.

Venomous.

Mostly arboreal.

Found in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia, Zanzibar and Zimbabwe.

Considered Least Concern by the IUCN.
