"Satan" is a terrified patient who deserves compassion, not attitude. I know this is meant to be lighthearted, but this is a serious problem in vetmed. Too many who work in the field simply do not understand cats as they should, and it shows.

No, it's not the only note I know to play, but it's one I heard far too often from the DVMs I worked with. "Undervaluing our services" is a common complaint leveled at low cost spay/neuter clinics & other measures intended to help animals, also, so it's not only this "marginal" situation.

I never used the word "all". I referred specifically to those who objected to the law. Yes, their concerns SEEM reasonable. In my own firsthand lived experience, vets concerned w/profits ALWAYS have a "reasonable" textbook rationalization for what they SAY is their reason.
