Tend to do well picking games that I think I’ll enjoy, so it’s always a big surprise when something doesn’t click in a huge way.

Have only really been 2 games like that in the last 5 years that fit that criteria. 1 of which made me reevaluate how I interact with games lol Was literally my anti-game

Also just what an amazing panel to end that one.

Really liked the conclusion in Chapter 29 to that whole little arc that had been going on. Was a really touching moment.

You should give the first 7 vols of the YGO manga a shot! It’s so different compared to the Duelist Kingdom and later stuff, and is wild seeing the horror element origins

I’ve only read the manga up until mid-thru DK as a kid, so I’m excited to see how Battle City plays out. Love that in the anime

The Sega CD version (the only one with an official En localization) is really cute and charming with all its voice acting and FMVs and cheerful colors. But it was done by Working Designs so the script is VERY much of the 90s for better or for worse in some aspects. lol

I really want to get an RG477M, love Anbernic's line of metal-cased handhelds (have there 351MP and 353M). This hit everything I want out of a little device when I was look at reviews of it a couple months ago, but it is hard to justify when I have other comparable things. ;-; I hope you enjoy it!

But I think what is most impressive, as someone just more overly familiar with the anime, is how much the core of "The Power of Friendship" has pretty much rung true since chapter 1. Though is brought very much to the forefront in the Shadi arc when Yugi Friendship-no-Jutsu'd him.

Been really fun re-reading the first vols of Yu-Gi-Oh! again!

But the thing I love in this first 3-in-1 is watching Takahashi's art style evolve over what is not even six months of releases

From the inky/wild 1st chapter to becoming more detailed and closer to the version that is more wildly known

What’s your favorite processed meat?

Mine is Chả lụa (Vietnamese pork roll) especially those that get localized in a specific region of Thailand, but any of them is good tbh. You can steam, boil, stir-fry, deep-fry, cook it with anything, I’ll eat it all.
