My son lives with his mom and my daughter’s 29 so it’s just me.

It’s great being off the devices. I went 7 months a few years back. It’s funny but after 2-3 days it’s rarely missed. I’m 56 so I remember life before. It may hit differently for youth.

Nah, not that long. I just take time away from my devices every now & then. Kinda reset & remember what it was like not being tethered to a phone. I’ll still be here but way less frequently. I check in my peeps at least once a week usually though😊

I don’t know why but I’ve always had a thing for this building in The City. I also don’t know why it’s never photographed the way I see it with my own eyes (well, my one functional eye).

I get it. I can’t eat it like I used to. Now it’s like one or two pieces every couple of years.
My tastes changed when I got old & decrepit 😂

I agree with you. It’s to the point that if you don’t have generational wealth, you’d better be lucky along the way.
I fear for the future of my children all the time. It’s not the world you & I came up in. Greed cannot sustain itself. Things will definitely pop off here first. It’s coming. G’night

Big time! There’s always been the vacation home kooks here but once Silicon Valley hit in the late 90’s-early 2,000’s, it got insane. Here, Bay Area, Idaho, Oregon Coast, everywhere. Sucks.

I feel like we’re closer to a class war than we’ve ever been, though, so we’ve got that going for us.😁
