It’s time for Republicans to remember their oath and do right by the people they serve.

Most farmers and voters in farming-dependent counties voted for Trump. They still support him, even as some of his policies have created economic hardship for the agriculture industry. Our country is in peril because of their racism. They won’t learn the consequences of their vote with a bailout.

When a democratic republic uses military force to occupy its own territory it can severely damage or kill democracy by eroding civil liberties, creating a cycle of violence, and blurring the lines between military and civilian rule.

News today that ICE shot a woman is chilling. The videos online show that there are some abusive, masked thugs masquerading as law enforcement.
