Said I wasn't doing the meme. Did it. I'm a capricious scamp. Had to make some WILD choices (no pokemon? no Ace Attorney? No Psychonauts? No Hades 1? No Monkey Island?)
Sad to leave out the real bangers like Escape Velocity Nova and Twinklestar Sprites for the two people who would pop for those.

I loved Legends Arceus so I was hoping this would have the bones of that plus a little more solid battle mechanics and it seems like that’s more or less what we got, but with a lot more main-line pokemon game mechanics being brought along.

Finally got Pokemon ‘za and played a few hours. Fun so far, but I kinda wish it was structured a little differently- it feels like I’m hitting an invisible wall every three steps and mechanics are getting introduced SO slowly as I get dragged along an extended tutorial.

Me running back to Artist Alley at #twitchcon after telling Ironmouse that I'm working at the booth that makes that one blanket people keep giving her at every convention, but she says her family keeps taking all her cute blankets and she can't find any.

I know it's kinda lame-sounding but even though it's technically "working" it's a nice change from my usual, and it's really the only time I'm comfortable engaging with random passerby. Plus, Kairui's stuff is super cute and I like telling people about it!

Meanwhile, I spent all day every day in meet and greet lines seeing nearly nothing else. It was cool, and I was glad to have those, but it made the entire event a slog. This year as an exhibitor, I had a purpose and something to focus on besides wandering around or waiting in line!
